Position: VTI, Manager

Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is one of the key priority activity areas of DAM which is implemented through establishing and running a number of vocational training institutes (VTI), offering various trade courses of national standard and providing employment support services.

DAM is now looking for an experienced energetic Bangladeshi professional for employment as Manager, VTI. This is a senior management level core position in DAM to provide leadership and guidance to the teams in the sector.

Position Summary:
VTI, Manager will provide programmatic leadership of the sector. S/he will be supervisory personnel of the projects. The Managers will be report to Director, TVET. S/he will ensure proper implementation of the program as per program design and to the level of expected program outcome. VTI, Manager will maintain liaison with donor organizations, submit reports on regular basis. S/he will maintain close relationship with other sectors, divisions, institutions and program in DAM to increase collaboration. S/he will represent DAM in relevant platforms, committees, seminars and meetings as required or nominated.

Position Requirements 

• The candidate must have a Masters Degree in any Social Science with a Diploma in any of the engineering or technical education discipline or an engineering degree with a post-graduate management degree .
• At least  10 years job experience of which at least 7 years in senior management position with preference to vocational training and skills training management.  
• Demonstrated ability to write reports and ensuring timely delivery of program progress reports to the government and donors.
• Explicit experience of programme leadership and management of multiple teams.
• Demonstrated ability to write reports and submit reports to the government and donors.
• Demonstrated ability to work and coordinate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, including government, donors, community-based organizations, and the private sector.
• Demonstrated ability manage cooperative relationships and motivate team members.
• Experience in integrating gender and inclusion into TVET.
• Spoken and written fluency in both English and Bangla.

Age: Maximum 45 years
