Job Description / Responsibility
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) has established “Ahsania Mission Children City” in Panchagarh to provide long term institutional support to the street children starting from 6 years up to 18 years through education and specialized training on different trades of employable skills and child development services. First village of the Ahsania Mission Children City has been established in Panchagarh to accommodate 1,000 street children. To administer this Village/ Center, DAM is looking for a suitable “Center Manager” (full time) who can shoulder following responsibilities:

• Management and implementation of the administrative, logistics and financial aspects of the center
• Lead a team of around 40 employees of different units of the center on a daily basis
• Mitigate disputes, grievances and day to day challenges
• Ensure the practices of Child Protection Policy of DAM and various manuals/ guidelines of Ahsania Mission Children City
• Implementation of HR policies and procedures of DAM as per needs of the center
• Assess performance of  all employees of the center and mentor team members to enrich performances
• Maintain communication/contacts/liaison with community, local and district level stakeholders
• Work in a challenging environment and under pressure to meet goals and targets

Educational Qualification and Experience: Masters in social science or relevant discipline. 5-8 years related experience with minimum 2-3 years in a managerial role

• Willingness to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and motivation skills.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and good report-writing skills
• Good knowledge of IT applications
• Must be willing to learn, adaptable and flexible
