Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a Bangladeshi NGO with Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and UNESCO. Founded with the motto of 'Divine and Humanitarian Service', over last 59 years DAM has been serving the human community for improved living conditions enhancing people’s capacities to maximally utilize their inner potentials. DAM's current diversified works encompass multi-dimensional field programmes and self-governing institutions in education, health and economic development sectors in Bangladesh.

DAM is going to recruit experienced and qualified candidates under Feed the Future Bangladesh Women’s Empowerment Activity project ( Project Period up to February 2018) for the following vacancies. Master Trainer

05 positions.
For Sothern Area

  • Graduation Degree.
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in relevant field.
  • Working experience with Union Parishad, local leaders and various types of stakeholders;
  • Age: Maximum 35 years

  • Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for Teachers /LAC Members/Peer Groups/.
  • Evaluate Teacher’s performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop testing and evaluation procedures.
  • Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for Teachers.
  • Conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
  • Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials under the guideline of Institutional Capacity Building Experts

  • About 3-5 years experiences particularly donor funding project;
  • Sound computer skills;
  • Age: Maximum 40 years;

  • Prepare monthly receipts & payments accounts of each month and income & expenditure accounts;
  • Prepare monthly financial statement and budget variance analysis with the project budget each month;
  • Prepare monthly/half yearly/yearly Donor/DAM management reports;
  • Close collaboration with field/district offices to ensure recording and posting of all transitions in the books of accounting in Tally Software ;
  • Checking of all daily bills, voucher etc.;
  • Cross check all bills with previous month;
  • To collect attendance sheet for prepare salary statement;
  • Arrange salary payment to project staff as well as necessary payment of the bill;
  • Salary transfer to bank by transfer letter;
  • Looking after administrative activities;
  • Ensure logistic supports for project staff;
  • Advanced payment to program personnel as procedure maintain of proper authority of the organization;
  • Maintain all kinds of Bank transaction;
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statement.
  • To conduct and assist internal audit also assist external audit when occurred;
  • Ensure approved budget are following from the donor, organization’s ED
  • Arrange fund transfer to project field office as per their requirement with approval of proper authority;
  • Ensure all kinds of VAT, TAX at source deduction and deposit to bank;.
  • Cheque requisitions submit to bank and collection cheque book;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the

project higher authority.

Community Filed Coordinator

-      She/he is  responsible for overall management of the project at District and Upazilla level;
-       To maintain good relation with local govt. institutions and civil society group;
-      Regular monitoring project activities,  prepare report and update project offices;   
-      Primary responsibility for logistical arrangement and organization of all project activities, including event set-up, etc. under the supervision of the Institutional Capacity Development Specialist

  • Participate in planning, implementation, and reporting for all community-based activities, including but not limited to Assisting to organize trainings for CRC/Ganokendro based  activity coordination
  • Assisting to organize Staff training and capacity building workshops planned by DAM , ACI and WI
  • Providing coaching to LAC Members , peer groups and other volunteers and field staff throughout the implementation process
  •  Providing input for periodic and final reports
  • Work directly and consistently with local stakeholders to facilitate stakeholder involvement in activities, including but not limited to conducting orientation and review workshops with key stakeholders
  • Communicating project results to key stakeholders and responding to their questions and concerns
  • Keep regular communication with the Institutional Capacity Building Specialist  and provide weekly updates on project progress
