Dhaka Ahsania Mission is going to implement a 2 years’ non-formal primary education project titled “Let Us Learn” in South Sunamganj and BishwamvarpurUpazilla ofSunamganj District with the financial support by UNICEF invites applications for the following positions for immediate appointment.

Project Manager
(01)
Duty Station- South Sunamganj.

Job Responsibilities

  • S/he will ensure the effective implementation of the project in line with the approved project proposal and budget;
  • S/he will manage and supervise project team at field level those are working under the assigned projects;
  • S/he will maintainlinkage with Govt. and Non-Govt. service providers;
  • S/he will have to conduct study/survey as per need of the project and prepare report for the donor and organization;
  • S/he will facilitate to formulate project implementation plan together with team and other relevant stakeholders and execute as well;
  • S/he will facilitate the capacity building activities including training, workshops etc. of the project stakeholders including staff;
  • S/he will Prepare monthly fund requisition, progress report, case story, and other necessary documents as required by theproject;
  • S/he will organize day to day field activities according to the project action/operation plan;
  • S/he will rapport building with the communities and strongly mobilize the project participants and stakeholders;
  • S/he will maintain liaison with the donor agencies and meet donor compliances;
  • S/he will perform any other responsibilities as guided by the supervisor;
  • Track project expenditure against respective deliverables and manage budget.

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 50 years
  • Good command both in English & Bangla;
  • Skills in communicating with English speaking foreign doctors
  • Skills in writing reports and assessment in standard English;
  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
  • Experience in the use of office equipment, computer and analytical software packages along with MS word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Knowledge ofProject Management, coordination, leadership, community engagement, and rights-based approach;
  • Capacity to manage project team
  • Willing to stay field office area.
  • Diverse knowledge about Non-formal Education Project management;
  • Experience on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation process.
  • Excellent facilitation, coordination, team management, reporting and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work and lead a multi-cultural team and meeting deadlines;

Salary

Monitoring Officer (01)

Masters in Social Science from any reputed University, any advance training/diploma will be added advantage. 4-5 years of progressive experience at development organization particularly monitoring of non-formal education project. As a key member of the project team, the Technical Officerwill work under the guidance of Coordinator, Monitoring & Evaluation and collaborate with program and technical colleagues to design, implement and supervise M&E activities, promoting a culture of data use to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes. He will support documentation and dissemination of program successes and challenges. The Technical Officerwill also establish standardized data management systems and processes, develop M&E framework, plan, data collection tools, and ensure quality of data through data verification procedures, including routine data quality audits, establish and maintain data management system and develop and oversee data flow pattern that will ensure timely data collection and reporting Candidate should be fluent in English both written & oral. Computer literacy is must.

Key Competencies to acquire and practice:

  • Strong experience in results-based management and/monitoring and evaluation, and report writing skills;
  • Strong experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems is also necessary;
  • Contemporary understanding and practice of project cycle management
  • Understanding of development programs with special focus on education in emergency program
  • Participatory monitoring tools and techniques, Social analytical tools
