JOB INFORMATION:

GENERAL CONTEXT AND BACKGROUND:

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded by Khan BahadurAhsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi. The founding motto of DAM is ‘Divine and humanitarian service’. It functions since 1958 pursuing the aims of social and spiritual development of entire human community.

DAM is recruiting suitable candidates for its upcoming Sustainable Urban Provision, Benapole projectin Benapole, Satkhira funded by Human Appeal.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Responsible for planning, implementation and management of the project;
• Continuously monitor and supervise project activities, overseeing the technical design, execution and evaluation of progress through outputs and impacts using both quantitative and qualitative data;
• Ensure constant communication with project staff to identify potential problems, formulate recommendations and solutions and report;
• Ensure mobile based monitoring and real time data entry with using mobile/tab;
• Review existing technologies and analyse for better performance;
• Organize and facilitate training on Operation and Maintenance to Water and Sanitation options;
• Prepare hardware progress report according to work plan for concern authority;
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, conflict resolution and problem solving in timely manner;
• Take necessary steps for capacity strengthening of project team and other stakeholders involved in the implementation to deliver project outputs effectively;
• Control and manage budget and ensure all expenses are according to budget;
• Have responsible to work and maintain protocol according to the direction of higher management of the DAM;
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by DAM WASH sector and Director, Health & WASH Sector.
