GENERAL CONTEXT AND BACKGROUND:
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded by Khan BahadurAhsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi. The founding motto of DAM is ‘Divine and humanitarian service’. It functions since 1958 pursuing the aims of social and spiritual development of entire human community.
DAM is recruiting suitable candidates for its upcoming Sustainable Urban Provision, Benapole project
inBenapole, Satkhira funded by Human Appeal.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Ensure all Accounts and financial activities in the Project from top to bottom in time in compliance with the accounting norm of donor’s guideline and DAM rules and regulations.
- Ensure timely Fund Flow in compliance with the budgetary provision, schedule of disbursement and field requisition.
- Ensure preparation of monthly/ quarterly financial statement and submit to WASH Head Office in time.
- Make a periodic review of administrative and financial activities of the Project and take appropriate measures for facilitating the smooth operation of the program and ensuring financial transparency.
- Supports to internal and external audit as and when DAM necessary.
- Facilitate the office administration, staff management, procurement and logistic support for smooth program implementation & create a friendly working environment in the Project.
- Ensure all physical facilities for organizing training /workshop/meeting and close coordination with Project Coordinator.
- Ensure safe storing of office documents, files, materials, stationeries, publications, reports etc. In coordination with others and Ensure security of the office.
- Ensure supply, utility services, billing of all office consumption, office rent, electricity charge etc items in due time.
- Keep updated and in order of all office Furniture, Fixture & equipment/vehicle and maintain a schedule of servicing and maintain a store with effectively & efficiently.
- Maintenance of personnel files and leaves records of the staff members & keeps updating.
- Supervise to support staff, night guard and cleaner to perform his/her activities.
- Instant discharge for any financial occurrence.
- Act as assign by the Project Management
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- MASTERS in Accounting/Management /Finance.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL:
- At least 5 years’ experience in relevant work.
- Working experience with National or local NGOs.
