Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) invites applications for the following positions for immediate appointment in the ongoing SHOUHARDO III Project, in partnership with CARE Bangladesh and funding support of USAID. The goal of the project is to “Improve gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable people within Bangladesh for 549,000 poor and extremely poor people by 2021”. DAM is implementing the SHOUHARDO III program in   Sunamganj ( Taherpur&DowarabazarUpazillas) and Hobiganj ( Baniachong&AjmiriganjUpazillas) districts supported by CARE Bangladesh.

Technical Officer-Governance & Youth (G&Y)

Job Description / Responsibility:
Upazilla based Technical Officer (Gov.&Youth) is mainly responsible for capacity building through providing training and regular on the job support to the Field Trainers (FTs)- G&Y to better understand the SHOUHARDO III Program goal, purposes, strategies, technical modules and guidelines, and be able to implement activities in an integrated and qualitative manner to achieve sustainable results. S/he will maintain functional relationship with the concerned LEBs, NBDs, NGOs and private sector actors and will attend relevant meetings and workshops to explain the program.

Educational Requirements

• Masters in Social Science/political Science or any other relevant disciplines

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.
• Working experience with local government and Nation Building departments.
• Computer skills
• Ability to maintain liaison with the district and Upazila level government officials like; DD-Agriculture, DD-Livestock, Upazila Health and Family planning Officer, A/C-Land, UNOs etc. and also elected representatives.
• Experience in working with the multi-interventions program.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.

• Willing to drive motor cycle and should have valid driving license

• Technical Officer- Governance & Youth should be given preference for recruitment from respective district or minimum from respective division.

Salary
Tk. 32,200( Monthly)
