Job Context

• The Feed the Future Bangladesh Agricultural Infrastructure Development Activity is a five-year, initiative implemented by Amentum Services Inc. (amentum)-PAE Government Services Inc (PAE). Dhaka Ahsania Mission is partner to accelerate the program activities. The Activity’s goal is to improve agricultural infrastructure to increase the availability of quality and safe agricultural produce for domestic, regional, and international markets that will benefit the agricultural value chain across the FTF zones.

Job Location: Four Upazillas in Faridpur District.

Job Responsibilities
He/She will be responsible for electrical design of the infrastructure and to assist the Design Manager to complete the project preparation works and stated below:

• Establish electrical system design criteria and standard, evaluating requirement as per site condition;
• Determine Electrical system requirement for the works.
• Conduct design studies and calculations for the electrical system including electrical sub-station of the project.
• Design the wiring diagram, single line diagram etc. for the buildings/market sheds;
• Design the earthling and lightning system for the building/market shed in the market area;
• Design the Solar Street lighting system;
• Preparation of BOQ and Cost estimates with technical specifications of electrical works.
• Any other task as required by the Client.

Contractual Consultancy Mood (as per project agreement)

Educational Requirements

• He/She should possess Bachelor’s Degree and Certifications in Electrical Engineering.

Additional Requirements

• Should have 6-11-years’ experience in electrical design, installation and commissioning work.
• Both Male & Females are allowed to apply.
• Spoken and writing skills both in English and Bengali.
• Should have excellent computer skills.

Salary:
Grade-10, as per project budget.
