Job Context
- DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED) (an institution of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, MRA license-00109-02243-00747) is working to enhance the socio-economic condition of poor people for creating their employment opportunities, raising income and increasing their asset and financial resources. DFED is currently looking for competent and experienced Personnel for the management of field operations. This position is based with Head Office of DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED).
- DGM (Operation) is mainly responsible for planning of DFED Operation, its expansion and management of all branch level activities. The operation of DFED, which is implemented through Branches and supervised by the Area Offices, is remaining direct operation responsibilities. Regular field visits, supervision and staff management, field planning and performance monitoring are the key activities of the position. The position demands extensive field presence uniformly to all operation fields.
- Job Location: Head Office, Adabar- Dhaka (75% Field Visits)
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare annual plan of operation in Branch, Area and the Zonal level and ensure proper execution;
- Strictly maintain selection criteria for borrowers, examine loan applications, check previous records before loan approval;
- Liaison with PKSF, scheduled bank and other financial institutions for ensuring the fund inflow at the field level;
- Over all Fund Management at the field level, which includes determining loan portfolio, promotion of products, expansion of borrowers, timely disbursement and recovery, management of overdue, reducing bad loan and other DFED program implementation issues;
- The position will ensure that no money will remain idle in the field;
- Ensure proper reporting on time, keeping records in order and management of DFED accounts by the Branches;
- Ensure compliances of the audit (internal and external) within shortest possible time;
- Keeping all field level DFED information update and ensure that these are send to HQ MIS system as decided by the system;
- Develop new DFED products and policy for its operation;
- Maintain DFED operational discipline in the field and in the office;
- Ensuring daily monitoring on field activities and provide necessary support accordingly;
- Responsible for personnel management, office administration at Branches, Areas and Zonal offices;
- Provide DFED field operation related information to HQ regularly and as required;
- Ensure that DFED guidelines are followed properly by all concerns at the field;
- Responsible for local coordination of the Branches and Area offices;
- Ensure that social elements and group behaviors of the DFED borrowers are practices and empowerment of the borrowers at progress;
- Maintain functional linkage and coordination with other Project/ programs of DFED in the Microfinance program areas and extend supports as requested and needed;
- Ensure that periodical reports and submitted on regular basis to partner’s and donor’s;
- Work in close coordination with all Staffs of DFED;
- Ensure that DFED program achieve gradually Credit Rating Standards ;
- Any other assignment as entrusted by the Supervisor;
- Any other job as may be assigned by the Management.

Educational Requirements
- Masters in any discipline.
- Other Subsequent Qualification-At least 2nd class/division in all academic exams.
Working Experience
- Total 15 years of experience with at least 05 years of experience in Assistant Director/AGM or Deputy Director/DGM or similar position at microfinance sector.
Additional Requirements
- Age limit up to 45 years.
- Spoken and writing skills both in English and Bengali.

Salary
Grade-12, (Gross Salary-110,355/-) per month.
