Job Context
DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED) (an institution of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, MRA license-00109-02243-00747) is working to enhance the socio-economic condition of poor people for creating their employment opportunities, raising income and increasing their asset and financial resources. DFED is currently looking for competent and experienced Assistant General Manager (Finance & Accounts, Field) for Finance & Accounts Department. The persons will be required to successfully carry out the Accounts related functions. We are looking for an energetic, dynamic, efficient person to fill up position. This position requires knowledge, General Accounting, VAT, TAX skills and serving attitudes to work under Accounts Department.
Job Location: Head Office, Adabar- Dhaka (75% Field Visits).
Job Responsibilities
- Overall financial management of the Investment Program (Field Operation).
- Prepare annual budget, analysis, identify variance, and ensure control mechanism for field offices.
- Ensuring deduction of VAT & Tax as per govt. rules
- Prepare financial reports for PKSF and other relevant donors as required.
- Response and ensure audit compliance at the branch office level as appropriate.
- Ensuring a clear fund flow taking into analysis with the operation requirement and ensure receiving from source, disbursement to the field, and ensure timely closing and statement to the all concern places.
- Review financial reports, statements, and vouchers from the branch offices, maintain approval process, get obtain approval and give feedback as deemed necessary.
- Ensure budgetary control.
- Keep the accounts and financial management transparent to all concern.
- Compile monthly statement, bank reconciliation, adjustment of field offices.
- Provide technical support/guide to accounts personnel’s at the branch level.
- Coordinate all financial related issues.
- Any other task as assigned by the Management.

Educational Requirements
- MBA/MBS/M.Com in Accounting from any recognized University. CA/CA-CC is mandatory.
- Other Subsequent Qualification-At least 2nd class/division in all academic exams.
Working Experience
- Total 10 years of experience in Coordinator/Finance Manager position.
- 05 years of working experience in microfinance sector.
Additional Requirements
- Age limit at most 40 years.
- Computer skills on Microsoft office applications are mandatory.
- Spoken and writing skills both in English and Bengali.

Salary
- Grade-11, (Gross Salary-88,230/-) per month.
