Job Context: Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital, Mirpur is a sister concern of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, dedicated to providing cancer and general medical care since its establishment in 2001. This 30-bed hospital is housed in a six-story building equipped with best medical facilities. The hospital offers a range of services, including oncology, medicine, pathology, pediatrics, gynecology, X-ray and imaging, emergency care, OPD, PCU, OT, and Day Care centers. It also provides a 24-hour ambulance service for cancer and general patients.  Pathology department is run by a group of qualified professionals. The hospital lab consists of  Blood bank including Histo and Cytology units.  To enhance its service delivery, the hospital management has decided to recruit 2  Medical Technologists  to fill vacant positions. Selected candidates (Med Tech) will be expected to serve with dedication and ensure the highest standard of laboratory practices and patient care.

Job Location: Mirpur- 14,Dhaka

Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform diagnostic tests on blood, tissues, and other body fluids ; analyze results to deliver accurate and reliable data.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Demonstrate expertise in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, blood banking, and clinical pathology, with a strong interest in histopathology and cytology.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Ready to work in 3 shifts (Morning, Evening and Night) as per roster, ensuring alignment with hospital operational needs.
• Ensure strict obedience to hospital protocols, procedures, and policies.

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Medical Technology

Experience: 1 year (At least)
